  1. Make time to read for fun, but don’t pressure yourself to finish the stack of books sitting by your bed.  Just enjoy.
  2. Sing carols.  The louder the better.  As we all know, “The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.” – Buddy the Elf
  3. Spend time with family and friends.  They may not have seen you for a while due to the fun that finals, thesis or a dissertation bring.

One frightful evening in October, ghosts and goblins alike drifted into the Graduate School office.  In place of a hallway, a graveyard now laid peppered with headstones.  Creepy sounds and music filled the air as students, professors and staff joined the creepy soiree.  The eyeball punch beckoned everyone to taste.  Spook-tacular costumes and bewitching conversation ensued as friends and goblins united for a Happy Halloween open house.
